Rob Gronkowski recalls his favorite memory off the field with Tom Brady

As Tom Brady, Rob Gronkowski and the rest of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers prepared to take on the NFC East champion Washington Football Team, Gronkowski relived his favorite moment off the field with the legendary quarterback.

During a conference call with reporters on Wednesday, Gronkowski said that his favorite memory of Brady was when they were at the Kentucky Derby, and he saw Brady taking a shot of alcohol and Brady’s “disgust” on his face because of what he was putting on your body.

Gronkowski imitated Brady as he laughed, “I’m putting this alcohol on my body. How am I going to play next week?”

In his first season with the Buccaneers, Brady rode a stellar season at 43.

He took Tampa Bay to a record 11-5, and the Buccaneers’ first appearance in the playoffs since 2007.

Brady ended the 2020 campaign with 4,633 passing yards, 40 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. Gronkowski collected 45 receptions for 623 reception yards and seven scores.

The Buccaneers play against Washington on Saturday at 8:15 pm ET.
