Riverside County has confirmed that people 65 and older can start receiving their coronavirus vaccine, the county website shows.
According to the municipality’s website, vaccines are available to employees working in Phase 1A – All levels, Phase 1B – Level 1 and people aged 65 and over.
People aged 75 and over are in Phase 1B.
NOTE:
- For staff in Phases 1A and 1B – Level 1, a required appointment and badge / ID from the workplace or you will not be vaccinated
- For people over 65, a consultation and identity document is required. You can call the Riverside County Office of Aging at 800-510-2020 or 2-1-1.
The clinics will provide vaccines free of charge, however, those who attend must register before arrival and present proof of eligibility (badge, business identification, proof of employer).
Medical insurance information will be requested. Those 65 and older who need help making an appointment can call the Riverside County Office of Aging at 800-510-2020 or 2-1-1.

A clinic was opened on Sunday, January 17 at the Indio Fairgrounds. This location will be a walking clinic. You still need to register to be vaccinated.

A drive-up clinic in Lake Elsinore opening on Saturday will be exclusively for people over 65.


This came after Governor Gavin Newsom announced that the state is immediately allowing residents aged 65 and over to receive scarce coronavirus vaccines.
