‘Rest’: Naya Rivera remembered by former Ryan Dorsey in a sweet tribute on what would have been her 34th birthday
Ryan Dorsey paid a sweet tribute to his late ex-wife Naya Rivera on what would have been his 34th birthday on Tuesday.
The 37-year-old actor was married to the Glee star from 2014 to 2018 and is now raising his five-year-old son Josey as a single father after his death last July.
Sharing a photo of you and Rivera with your son, Dorsey wrote on Instagram: ‘As surreal as real that you are gone. If that makes sense, but none of that still makes sense … 34, I could just hear you say ‘Ah, I’m old AF now!’ Ha … Rest, lady. ‘

In the black-and-white photo, Rivera cradles her son while Dorsey leans over and takes the photo.
The actress died during a boat trip with Josey on Lake Piru, in Ventura County, northeast of Los Angeles.
Her body was recovered five days after she disappeared and the coroner considered her death an “accidental drowning”.
Several former Glee stars also turned to social media to remember the actress, who starred as Santana in all six seasons of the musical.

Heather Morris, who played Rivera’s on-screen girlfriend, Brittany, and was close friends with Rivera off-screen, shared a photo of the two.
“Happy birthday, my angel,” wrote Morris, 33.
‘I cannot write a sentimental monologue because it is very difficult,’ she said, ‘but I love you and I cannot describe how much I miss you.’
Chris Colfer, who played Kurt Hummel, tweeted a picture of himself with Rivera with the caption: ‘Happy birthday, baby. Miss you.’
