Rita Ora was reportedly replaced by a mannequin after allegedly canceling her appearance in the second season of RuPaul’s Drag Race in the UK.
The 30-year-old singer was hired to appear on the popular BBC series, but is said to have given up at the last minute, leaving producers with little time to mark another famous face.
According to reports, Rita did not appear after an alleged dispute over her entourage.
Due to the strict filming restrictions of the coronavirus, the Drag Race bosses decided to fill Rita’s place with a mannequin named Mickey.
The character was inspired by EastEnders star Danny Dyer, who plays the role of Mick Carter in the BBC soap opera.

Mickey had a lot to say about the competitor’s last challenge – which happened to have the EastEnders theme.
“Everyone on the set was waiting for Rita to arrive, but when she didn’t show up, the producers had to use their heads and came up with the idea of decorating a mannequin,” said a source.
The source continued on to The Sun: “Surprisingly, it worked well and became a running joke.”

A representative of Rita Ora declined to comment on these allegations when contacted by The Mirror.
Meanwhile, it has been reported that Rita is completely reshaping her image while planning to leave her wild years behind and is even considering getting her laser tattoos, now that she has left her twenties behind.
During a recent interview in Australia – where she is filming The Voice – the hitmaker lifted the lid on why she was rocking a party forever.

She said on Ash London Live in Australia: “I feel like as soon as you turn 30, the next day everything changes.
“You start to feel like you have wrinkles, like your joints are hurting. I can’t do what I used to do.
“I can sing better, I don’t lose my voice so much. Why do you always scream when you leave?” she added.
