But what does it mean?
As a cold front moves across the southeast, the National Weather Service (NWS) storm forecasting center put South Carolina under a “moderate”Risk of bad weather on Wednesday. Although “moderate” doesn’t sound like much of a threat, if placed in a five point scale, he would be four point classification, fall immediately below the highest risk.
Unlike typical Charleston flash floods, the weather system moving towards SC will bring a high threat in harmful gusts, great hail + tornadoes. 🌪️

The harsh climate is expected to increase in the afternoon + night, specifically 3 pm to 8 pm along coastal areas. During this time, you are likely to see felled trees + power lines that can cause potential power outages.

Although it is advisable to don’t panic, it is important for be ready in case of meteorological incidents.
