The 18-year-old rapper, on the rise in Southern California, was shot dead, reports confirm.
As Pitchfork reports, the 19-year-old was pronounced dead at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill on Saturday (January 23). An investigation by the York County Sheriff’s Department is still ongoing.
The rapper, whose real name is Paul Harts, was known for channeling Southern trap sounds into his music – citing names like Jeezy, Yo Gotti and Gucci Mane as his influences.
His production took a significant turn in 2020, when he released his five-track EP ‘R4z’ on South Carolina label BoyMeetSpace, as well as his debut project ‘Pablo.

Discussing his desire to establish the broader name of South Carolina artists, he told Lyrical Lemonade last year: “We are still not as we should be. It depends on us right now – it depends on the artists that SC has now. I want to be one of those who help us to put ourselves on a world level. “
‘Pablo’, therefore, was an endeavor welcomed by South Carolina, with collaborations with his fellow Carol Rappers PG RA, jetsonmade and Neeko Baby.
As a tribute on Twitter, Jetsonmade shared an 18veno video, writing: “Long Live @ 18veno, I love u lil brudd.”
Another fan wrote: “Rip 18veno man felt destined for great achievements in the industry. anyone watching regional scenes saw the potential. “
