The Ruined King will finally reign over the Rift later this month.

Riot confirmed League of Legends‘next jungler, Viego, during the live broadcast of today’s 11th season. Although there is still no set release date, the new champion will likely arrive on active servers with Patch 11.2 on January 21.

Viego’s full skill kit has yet to be revealed, but Riot offered fans a small snippet of his gameplay. It seems that Viego can take control of an enemy champion and play briefly like him.

Riot has already provoked Viego on the September Champion Roadmap, referring to him as a “new and romantic jungle skirmisher” who will be “twisting hearts and possessing minds”. This can allude to a kind of charm ability, giving it a form of CC.

Viego will also appear as the antagonist for the title of Riot Forge’s next RPG, The ruined king: a league of legends Story. Players will cross Borraquilha and set sail for the Shadow Isles to explore the deadly Black Mist. Six turns on champions will be playable characters in turn-based role playing, including Miss Fortune, Ahri, Illaoi, Yasuo, Braum and Pyke.
