Riot Games has revealed one of the last skin lines that will come to League of Legends: Shan Hai.
The skins line, which incorporates many traditional oriental themed elements, includes new skins for Cho’Gath, Jhin, Nautilus and Neeko. Among these four champions, Cho’Gath stands out, as the Shan Hai skin line will present its first new cosmetic in more than two years.
The Shan Hai line of skins was announced today along with another set of skins coming to the game called Ruined. In total, Riot revealed seven new skins coming to turns on.
The new Shan Hai skins incorporate a “sizzling” theme, according to Riot. Many of the animations featured in today’s PBE preview include a fiery touch. Abilities like Jhin’s Death Flourish and Nautilus Riptide also explode with a burst of flame.
It is unclear when these skins will reach the servers live, but judging by their thematic elements, it may be fair to predict that they will be part of the 2021 Lunar Revel event. Since 2011, the event in the game has traditionally coincided with the Chinese New Year.
A new season of game classified in turns on starts on January 8th. Players can probably expect more updates on these skins over the course of the 2021 season.
