Next generation exclusive Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart will be released on PS5 on June 11, Insomniac Games announced on PlayStation Blog today.
Announced last June, the action platform game is set to be a showask for new PlayStation hardware, including levels where players can jump without problems across multiple worlds, something that wouldn’t be possible on PS4.
In addition, the game will feature two graphics modes, one playing at 4K at 30 fps and the other playing at 60 fps and a “lower resolution”. Unlike some other Sony exclusives, including last year’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales and this next year Horizon Forbidden West, Rift Apart will not come to PS4.
PS4 owners who want to get fed up with anthropomorphized animals by making high-tech hijinks can always check out 2016 excellent remake of the first game in the Ratchet and Clank Series. This game is also available to paid PlayStation Plus subscribers on PS5 free of charge as part of PS Plus collection of the new console.
