The song title is a reference to an iconic moment that occurred in the show’s fourth season during a smackdown battle with Candiace Dillard Bassett, while Samuels shouted, ‘I’m going to drag you, pregnant and all!’

After being dubbed the ‘drag queen’ by a number of fans, Samuels told StyleCaster, she thought to herself, ‘That would really be an interesting title.’

‘The song is me remembering who I am as a person, what I stand for, what I don’t stand for’, she said and was recorded before the quarantine as a way to vent after the last season of the show.

The video follows HaZel as she looks glamorous before entering a nightclub and features a series of costume changes, as well as a dance sequence with the famous drag queens Iyana Deschanel and Brooklyn Heights.

HaZel appears in a sequined body, a bold black and gold metal corset and a shiny jeans look with warm pants.

In a discussion with Riley Knoxx about the project, she said, ‘If this is the only song and the only video I make, I feel complete.’

She described her sound as ‘rap, but more R&B, sexy beats’, and said she plans to release a mini-album.

Revealing his decision to leave the show on an Instagram live on Sunday after the meeting, Samuels said, ‘It’s not easy to do reality shows, and to be quite honest … I got over it. I got over.’

Monique added in her SC interview: ‘I didn’t know it was a 12-month job 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. I thought it was just ‘OK. We’re going to shoot and then I’m off for the rest of the year. No. It is endless.

She went on to say: ‘I appreciate everything that people have done for me, everyone on Team Monique – I love you, I thank everyone – but when you cross certain lines there is no turning back.

The explosive meeting saw Monique arriving on set with a cookbook-style collection from her castmates: Gizelle Bryant, Karen Huger, Ashley Darby, Robyn Dixon, Wendy Osefo and Dillard Bassett.

As of now, all but Samuels are set to return for another season.
