After Joe, 48, signed the divorce papers on Wednesday night in the episode of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey”, the FaceTimed couple, with Teresa, 48, admitting that the divorce was easier than she expected.
“It needs to be finalized, but I think our divorce is the easiest divorce in the world,” joked Teresa on the call when Joe agreed.
She added in a confession scene, “Despite what my brother and other people were thinking, I knew that Joe would always do the right thing because he would be thinking about our daughters. If he hurt me, they would be upset with him. “
Teresa also defended Joe in a flashback clip of the show’s 10th season reunion shown in Wednesday’s episode, in which host Andy Cohen said Dolores Catania and Joe Gorga were concerned that Teresa’s ex-husband would go after her money in your separation.
Page six reported in September that the Giudices’ divorce was finalized after 20 years of marriage. They decided to separate in December 2019, after years of rumors of infidelity and two separate prison terms.
Joe is currently living in Italy after being deported after his 41-month prison sentence. He appealed the decision to try to stay in the United States with his family, but his request was denied. Two of the couple’s four daughters, Gia and Milânia, were able to visit him in November 2020.
Teresa is dating Luis “Louie” Ruelas, while Joe is in negotiations for a new dating reality show on TV.
