Kara Keough Bosworth and her husband Kyle Bosworth have announced that they are expecting their third child.
The daughter of Real Orange County Housewives star Jeana Keough announced the news at Easter. The happy news came almost a year after the death of his days-old son, McCoy Casey.
“For Christians, for Jews and for me, this time it is a reminder of the death of their firstborn children. Sacrifice. Suffering. Mourning. Mourning,” wrote the 32-year-old actress on Instagram, reflecting on the tragedy of her family loss in the last year.
“Last Easter was the worst night of my life. We held our eldest son in our arms while he took a deep breath. We spent time in the hell that is watching his son die,” she added. “This Easter is decidedly better. Despite that miserable Easter night, I cannot ignore that this day also represents rebirth. Renewed hope.”
Continuing, she wrote: “The word ‘Easter’ is said to derive from the goddess Eostre. Eostre, the goddess of fertility, symbolizes the birth of new life and the dawn of spring. And so it is for us.”
Beside the emotional message was a trio of photos showing an Easter basket for the couple’s baby on the way, which included a rainbow jumpsuit and a sign that said “I will not cause pain without allowing something new to be born”.

Another sweet photo also showed 5-year-old Decker Kate of the couple smiling outside in front of Easter baskets for her and all of her siblings. Behind it was also a sign saying, “McCoy is a big brother!” adding that the new arrival of the family will be “springing up this spring”.
When his post came to an end, Keough Bosworth included a poignant message to his deceased son, as well as to his father, Matt Keough, who died weeks after his grandson.
“We missed you, Mack-a-doodle. Thank you for sending us this sacred gift. You are an older brother! Tell Grandpa that I said he was right. He will know what I mean,” she wrote.

In the months since his son’s death, Keough Bosworth continued to mourn the loss of his son, who died after experiencing “shoulder dystocia and a compressed umbilical cord” during his birth.
“Oh, 11. It’s been 11 months since you were born. But that’s not the only reason why 11 hits me harder than the other months. 11 simply has a way of doing this, “she wrote earlier this month next to a black and white photo with her son.
She continued to remember that the “first time an 11 caught me by surprise” was after her son was born weighing 11 pounds. and 4 ounces. “Through the phone, I could hear doctors and nurses frantically trying to revive him in the background.” 11 … 11 pounds and 120 grams, ”she wrote.
