Captain America Civil War it’s a perfect movie and arguably the best movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe brought. The only real problem that even the most pedantic comic nerds could encounter with this is how the film’s antagonist, Helmut Zemo (Daniel Brühl), is not a supervillain like his comic book inspiration – he’s just a guy. Fortunately, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is about to fix this.

The Marvel Collect collectible card app from Topps released images of four of the main characters from the Disney + show in all their costumed glory. The Falcon outfit worn by Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie) is almost the same as in the course:

Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan) looks like stylish in your new outfit:

But Brühl’s Zemo is the character that gets the real upgrade:

The mask is inspired by the clothes of the comic book character, of course. Personally, what I love is the fur collar of his overcoat, which reminds useless fringes on the shoulders of the original costume:

Finally, there is also a photo of John F. Walker (Wyatt Russell), also known as US Agent, Captain America’s doppelgänger invented by the government to replace Steve Rogers:

It’s a terrible fantasy inspired by Captain America, but John Walker is a terrible substitute for Captain America, so it works perfectly. Somehow, the star-shaped “A” on your forehead looks worse to me than a simple “A” or star. It looks very commercialized, which is, again, the point.

Absent from this lineup is Sharon Carter (Emily VanCamp), who almost certainly also has a new outfit, since she left SHIELD in Civil war. Presumably, we’ll see when The Falcon and the Winter Soldier opens on March 19.
