Resident Evil Village reveals good news for PS5 and Xbox Series X

Capcom has revealed a ton of great news regarding Resident Evil Village in the last days. Not only do we know when the game will be released, but a new demo for PlayStation 5 players has also been released. Amid all this positive news for VillaHowever, perhaps the best information is that the game will not be as hard on your wallet if you try to catch it.

Pre-orders for Resident Evil Village were officially released for all platforms and with that came the revelation that the next generation iteration of the game on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X will not be more expensive than the versions for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. RE Village was originally thought to have been just a game hitting the next generation consoles, many assumed it would have a higher price. Luckily, this will not be the case and the game will sell for just $ 59.99.

If you’re wondering why that price might have been different in the first place, since the launch of the PS5 and Xbox Series X in late 2020, the retail value of some next-generation games has been greater than we have become accustomed to. . Some titles have risen to $ 69.99 in price, but this is not a standard practice across the video game industry. If Capcom decides to raise its game prices to that amount in the future, this trend clearly will not start here with Resident Evil Village.

With all that said, there is still a $ 69.99 version of Villa which will be available on all platforms. This iteration has been dubbed the Deluxe Edition and will come with some new DLC for the game. Some of these additions to the DLC include a samurai weapon, a footage filter found and some exclusive art.

And if you really want to be a big gambler, a collector’s edition of Resident Evil Village will also be available. This version will cost $ 219.99 and will include a steel book case, poster, an art book and a large statue of Chris Redfield.
