Resident Evil Village: ‘Re: Verse Mode’ and Deluxe Edition Details leak

A list from the Humble Bundle store page revealed that Resident Evil Village will feature a mode called Re: Verse. More details on what bonuses will be present in the deluxe edition of the game were also revealed before today’s Resident Evil Showcase stream. Twitter User Edward_Outcast first located the leak, posting it on Twitter. The copy they captured comes from the Humble Bundle store page of Resident Evil Village, which is still active at the time of writing. The description mentions that both versions of the game will include a new mode called Re: Verse. It is not yet clear whether this is a multiplayer mode or something else, but the copy around it mentions “end of service” and its availability suggests it.

“Details of the operating period for Resident Evil Re: Verse, including the start of availability and any potential announcements related to the end of the service, can be found on the official website,” says the copy. “Please note that, depending on the time of your purchase of Resident Evil Village, Resident Evil Re: Verse may no longer be available and / or the title may be made available by other means in the future.”

The description also leads to a Re: Verse website, which has not yet been published. The store page also lists the items contained in the Deluxe Edition of the game. Players who purchase the Deluxe Edition will get the ‘Trauma Pack’ containing “the Samurai Edge” weapon, the “Mr. Everywhere” accessory, a screen filter and special background music from the safe. “

There is also a pack of bonus items available to players who order any edition of the game. This includes a Mr. Racoon Weapon Charm, a Survival Resources Pack and a Mini Soundtrack from Resident Evil Village.

We also have a brief synopsis describing the game’s premise “A few years after the horrific events in the acclaimed Resident Evil 7 biohazard, the new storyline begins with Ethan Winters and his wife Mia living peacefully in a new location, free from their previous nightmares” , says. “Just as they are building their new life together, tragedy befalls them once again.”

The Resident Evil Showcase was announced last week and is scheduled to take place today at 2 pm Pacific / 5 pm Eastern / 10 pm UK (9 am AEDT on 22 January). Check out our article for all the details on how you can tune in.
