Life has been very quiet without our favorite furious mole yelling at us about redefining our copy of Animal Crossing. Mr. Resetti no longer lives in our city, in his underground lair or elsewhere, except for the probable possibility that he is the guy who runs the rescue service (a theory recently proven on Reddit).
In a tweet today, Nintendo revealed some of the new items that will be added to the game with the latest update, including a lot of things to celebrate the “big game” (which appears to be football, not the Premier League final) as well as a lovely Resetti figurine to put on the table.
In addition to these free additions, there will also be several items that celebrate New Year customs around the world, including red envelopes for the Chinese New Year (which is on February 12th), and what appears to be a Korean bokjumeoni, a small bag silk filled with gifts.
