The presidents of the Republican National Committee (RNC), the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) and the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) released a joint statement maintaining the expectation of working with Trump mid-term in an apparent attempt to lessen rivalry which broke out over the weekend and quickly caught national attention.
“The RNC, the NRSC and the NRCC are grateful for President Trump’s support, both in the past and in the future. Through its powerful agenda, we were able to break fundraising records and elect Republicans up and down at the polls. Together, we look forward to working with President Trump to retake our majorities in Congress and deliver results to the American people, ”said the president of the RNC Ronna McDaniel

The joint statement came just hours after Trump made a statement censoring “RINOs and fools”, while claiming that he supports the Republican Party.
“I fully support the Republican Party and important GOP Committees, but I do not support RINOs and fools, and it is not their right to use my image or image to raise funds,” said Trump, using the acronym for “Republicans in name only. “
Trump’s lawyers sent cease-and-desist letters last week to the three Republican bodies saying they should erase Trump’s name and image from his fundraising and merchandising efforts. The three bodies are the largest fundraising bodies for the Republican Party.
The RNC earlier this week dismissed the letter, arguing that making reference to the former president was within its First Amendment rights.
However, Trump made two hard-hitting statements at the end of the week – including Tuesday – stressing that he had no intention of leaving any of the three groups out of his demand.
The change in tone of the joint statement underscores the tremendous influence that Trump still has in the Republican Party. Although his national approval rating has plummeted since he stepped down, polls show that the Republican base remains overwhelmingly loyal to him, making it in the Republican Party’s interest to allow its ties to Trump to wear out too much.
Trump has already been heavily involved in the 2022 intermediate tests in addition to his fundraising rivalry, issuing a list of endorsements. Although most of the candidates he supported were acting legislators, he endorsed a leading candidate for the Rep.
