Not only after Lions announced Aaron Glenn as their new defensive coordinator, several reports indicate that the team is in agreement to make Anthony Lynn the offensive coordinator.

New Lions coach Dan Campbell and Glenn played for Bill Parcells in Dallas when Lynn was there as a running back trainer.

Lynn also spoke with the Seahawks about the opening of the offensive coordinator.

Lynn spent the last four seasons as Chargers’ head coach, going 33-31 before being fired after the 2020 season. The Chargers were the top 11 in all four seasons that Lynn was there.

Bills finished 16th in yards and 10th in points in 2016, when Lynn was the offensive coordinator.

For most of his 21-year coaching career, Lynn worked as a running back trainer.

Glenn arrives in Detroit after five seasons as a Saints secondary coach. He brings more than 24 years of NFL experience to Lions, including 15 years as an advocate.
