Report: Miami Heat ‘close’ to final offer to Kyle Lowry, trying to find the first round choice to include in the deal

The Miami Heat is really trying to acquire Toronto Raptors’ point guard, Kyle Lowry.

Lowry, 35, is probably on his last day as a Raptors player.

The point guard is collecting 17.4 points, 7.5 assists and 5.6 rebounds per game this season. He started in 37 competitions for the Raptors.

Still, the Raptors had a disappointing year. The team holds an 18-26 record and is the No. 11 seed in the Eastern Conference.

The Raptors want the Heat to include rising star Tyler Herro in a deal for Lowry. However, Heat is not willing to part ways with the second year.

The Heat is trying to get back to the NBA finals. Adding a veteran star like Lowry would increase your chances of competing in the Eastern Conference.
