Discussing Detroit Lions coach hiring is not exactly what we do here. But this is noteworthy. Lions must hire Anthony Lynn to be the next offensive coordinator. This is notable because Pittsburgh Steelers WRs coach Ike Hilliard was interviewed for the position.
According to sources, Detroit Lions will hire former Chargers coach Anthony Lynn as an offensive coordinator.

Lynn was recently the coach of the Los Angeles Chargers, but fired after a disappointing 2020 that saw several gaffes at the end of the game.
Hilliard was never seen as a favorite for the Lions’ work. But he had a relationship with new trainer Dan Campbell. The two played alongside the New York Giants in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Hilliard earned a reputation for developing young wide receivers, whether it be Terry McLaurin in Washington or Chase Claypool in Pittsburgh. The Steelers hired Hilliard to coach the WRs before the 2020 season. Now, he looks set to stay for another year.
QBs coach Matt Canada and DBs coach Teryl Austin also interviewed for league coordinator jobs. Canada with the Dolphins, Austin with the Titans. No teams have filled those positions yet. Canada is still the favorite to replace Randy Fichtner.
