If last week’s response to SI.com was not a sufficient indication (it should have been) that the JuJu Smith-Schuster receiver will leave the Steelers, there is more.

According to Mike Garafolo of NFL Media, Smith-Schuster told teammates in Pittsburgh that he was probably gone.

It is no surprise. He will command more than the Steelers can or will pay, due to his limited coverage space and his collection of very good young receivers. Its proven ability to find receptors in the draft makes it even less important to maintain it.

Smith-Schuster has become one of the most intriguing players in the free agency. He’s not a real number 1 receiver. Who can pay $ 15 million or more a year for a number 2?

We will find out, possibly soon. The market opens at noon ET.
