The Cowboys agreed to Jayron Kearse’s terms of security earlier in the evening. They are now negotiating with another security guard.

Michael Gehlken of Dallas Morning News reports that the Cowboys became involved in contract negotiations with Damontae Kazee after his visit and physics on Wednesday.

Kazee played for the Cowboys defensive coordinator, Dan Quinn, in Atlanta.

He must meet with the Lions next.

The Falcons made Kazee a selection for the fifth round in 2017, and he played in every game during his first three seasons. An Achilles tendon torn in Week 4 of 2020 ended prematurely last season.

He had 199 tackles, 10 interceptions and five forced fumbles during his run in Atlanta.
