A report on Monday night connected Bengals to the Hilton. Now it’s official. The terms of the agreement were not disclosed, but we will update this post when they are.
Hilton was a rough diamond, a former UDFA that deserved a big payout. One of the best slotback cornerbacks in football, Hilton was an excellent blitzer and defender.
In his four years with the Steelers, Hilton recorded 237 tackles, 30 of them for a loss and seven interceptions.
The Steelers hired Cam Sutton, who will take over from Hilton’s slot machine in 2021.
