REPORT: Alabama football to lose another assistant

Matt Zenitz of al.com informs that the Minnesota Vikings are expected to hire Alabama cornerback coach Karl Scott as defense back coach. In the sector, change is considered a promotion. The opening came when Daronte Jones left the Vikes to become LSU’s defensive coordinator.

Scott joined Crimson Tide ahead of the 2018 season, after two seasons as a secondary coach at Texas Tech.

He is Tide’s fifth assistant to flee after winning the National Championship in January. Steve Sarkisian, Jeff Banks and Kyle Flood all fled to Texas while Charles Huff took the lead in Marshall. Follow the comings and goings of MarĂ© Carmesim here.

No substitutes for Scott were mentioned at this time.
