Reminder: Super Mario 3D All-Stars leaves the eShop on March 31

It’s March, which means that Nintendo will soon remove everything under the sun related to Super Mario. Super Mario Bros. 35 is going, the Super Mario Game & Watch will no longer be available for purchase and even Netflix is ​​pulling an old one Super Mario Bros. 3 cartoon series.

The biggest loss, however, is arguably the removal of Super Mario 3D All-Stars collection – containing Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine and Super mario galaxy. While there are theories that Nintendo will eventually offer these games on the Switch individually, at the moment the company shows no signs of that.

The Nintendo website issued a timely reminder yesterday, once again notifying fans that this three-in-one collection will be coming out of Switch eShop on March 31, 2021. Obviously, you can still download and play it after that date . Here is the message:

If you have an eye on Super Mario 3D All-Stars ™ collection, this reminder is for you! Please note that the digital version will come out of the Nintendo eShop in March 31st*.

With this collection, you can play three of Mario’s greatest 3D platform adventures: Super Mario 64 ™, Super Mario Sunshine ™, and Super Mario Galaxy ™. This limited-time collection was launched last year as part of Super Mario Bros. 35º Birthday.

If you have already purchased the digital version, you will still be able to play after March 31. Even if you remove the game from your system, you can still download it again at any time.
