Release dates for The Falcon and the Winter Soldier: When does Episode 1 arrive at Disney Plus?

Don’t cry the end of this Friday WandaVision for a long time: the first episode of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier it arrives just fifteen days later, on March 19th. The Disney Plus show goes straight to the Friday night venue, pairing Falcon (Anthony Mackie) and Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan) on a double comedy adventure.

Unlike WandaVision, Falcon and the Winter Soldier are not expected to premiere with two episodes on the same day. It will release six weekly episodes, with the ending coming in the third week of April. Although it is less episodes than the Wanda and Vision sitcom, the expected run time of the episode offers a little more, ranging from 40 to 50 minutes.

  • Episode two: Available March 26 at midnight PT / 3am ET / 8am GMT
  • Episode 3: Available April 2nd – midnight PT / 3h ET / 8h GMT
  • Episode 4: Available April 9 – midnight PT / 3h ET / 8h GMT
  • Episode 5: Available April 16 at midnight PT / 3h ET / 8h GMT
  • Episode 6: Available April 23 at midnight PT / 3am ET / 8am GMT

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier mark the second series in the ever-evolving Phase Four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Collecting after the events of Avengers: Endgame, the show revolves around Sam Wilson, also known as The Falcon, taking over the Captain America shield, and Bucky Barnes, also known as The Winter Soldier, struggling with 21st century life without his friend Steve Rodgers. In addition, the pair team up on a worldwide mission to overthrow an anarchist group called Flag-Smashers.

Daniel Brühl will return as Baron Zemo, wearing his traditional purple comic book mask. Emily VanCamp is back as Sharon Carter, also known as Peggy’s niece and former SHIELD agent Wyatt Russell is also expected to appear as John F. Walker / US Agent, the US government’s militaristic successor to Captain America. In addition, Don Cheadle is set to make an appearance as War Machine.
