Page joins Chris Pine (Star Trek, Wonder Woman), Michelle Rodriguez (Fast and Furious) and Justice Smith (Detective Pikachu) in the film, which is being directed by Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley of Spider-Man: Homecoming.

Each film delayed due to coronavirus (until now)

Page, who previously starred in ABC’s Mortal Engines and For the People, achieved stardom as a result of his role in Bridgerton, Netflix’s debut drama of the Regency era. In IGN’s analysis, we gave Bridgerton a nine out of ten, calling the chemistry between Page’s mysterious and conflicting Basset and Phoebe Dynevor’s Daphne Bridgerton “flawless”. The series was watched by 82 million viewers in its first month, according to Netflix.

The details of the Dungeons & Dragons storyline are under wraps, so it remains to be seen who Page will be playing, and whether the storyline will keep things strictly fanciful or combine with the real world table game.

Dungeons & Dragons is scheduled to launch on May 27, 2022 due to delays resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic.

If you ended Bridgerton, be sure to check out why we think it’s the next big cinematic universe to be inspired.
