Like a fake couple turned real on the new Netflix Shonda Rhimes Series Bridgerton, Regé-Jean Webpage and Phoebe Dynevor has hot chemistry. However, for those who are wondering if this chemistry translates off-camera, the two are pretending to be shy.
In a January 9 interview with Access Hollywoodin Scott Evans and Kit Hoover, Page and Dynevor were asked who they were dating on Bridgerton launch out of the camera.
“I think everything you need to know is on the camera,” explained Page. “I think the brilliant words, the scripts and the material are more than enough.”
While the hosts joked that Page and Dynevor, who were video chatting in different locations, were probably “playing feet” under the table, the two laughed.
Romance can be the hot thing to discuss about Bridgerton, but it was not what initially attracted Dynevor to the project.
“I think the first thing that stood out for me was Shondaland doing Regency. That was so exciting for me,” the first Younger the actress explained. “I knew that women would have free will. They would not be shy women as we have sometimes seen in the Regency dramas.”
