Today is the day, guys. Walmart.com and the Walmart app will have the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S for sale starting at 12pm PT (3pm ET) on Thursday, March 25. (There is no indication, however, that the PS5 will be available in this round.) Most of the time, we barely have an hour’s notice of upcoming stock drops, but we know that the March 25 refueling has been arriving for a week. What is remarkable about this time is that it is said that they are the “Xbox All Access” versions of both consoles. This means that you are purchasing the console of your choice and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate (basically Microsoft’s “Netflix for games”) for a flat fee of $ 25 per month for the Xbox Series S or $ 35 per month for the Xbox Series X. After 24 months, you have the console free and clean, with zero percent interest to boot.

Full details on Xbox All Access can be found here, but the bottom line is that this is a big deal. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate offers access to dozens of top-tier titles from EA and other publishers, including releases on days and dates of original Microsoft titles – which now includes ZeniMax and Bethesda titles in the Doom, Dishonored, Wolfenstein and Elder Scrolls series (to name just a few).

If any of these things interest you, stay on the alert when Walmart opens the virtual floodgates on Thursday afternoon. Consoles are only available for delivery. And be prepared: based on previous experience, you may end up waiting in line, only to face the dreaded “exhausted” message.

You can improve your chances by opening store pages in various web browsers and other devices (your PC, your telephone, your tablet).
