Reese Witherspoon and Viola Davis wished happy birthday to friend Kerry Washington on Sunday.
The Election actress previously co-starred with Washington in the 2020 miniseries Little Fires Everywhere; Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom star did the same during a crossover episode of How To Get Away With Murder and Scandal.
Because they were unable to see their 44-year-old friend in person, the actresses sent memories through their Instagram accounts.

Washington currently has two major projects underway, one of which is the next action drama film, Shadow Force.
She is set to star opposite Sterling K. Brown in the film, which will be directed by Yelling to the Sky director Victoria Mahoney.
The actress will also produce and act on the project led by Eva Longoria 24 hours a day, 7 days a week; the development of the film was first announced in 2018.
