Ree Drummond updates fans about her husband and nephew’s condition after an accident near the Oklahoma ranch

Ree Drummond updated her fans on the condition of her husband and nephew after they were both involved in a car accident near her family’s ranch in Pawhuska, Okla.

“I want to thank everyone for their prayers for our family,” wrote the author in a Facebook update on Thursday. “Caleb and Ladd are in the hospital, but we think they will both be fine. As a family, we are thanking you today, knowing that things could have been much worse.”

“Thank you all for your love and kindness. It means a lot,” she concluded.

Fox News confirmed on Wednesday that Ladd and Caleb were injured in the afternoon crash.

The Pawhuska Fire Department confirmed that Caleb was taken to the hospital by ambulance after being ejected from a vehicle when two fire trucks collided.

His injuries included some on the “head, inner torso, arm and leg,” according to a report by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

Ladd, Ree’s 52-year-old spouse, was also taken to the hospital, but declined treatment because his injuries were not serious.

According to local Fox23 news, two fire trucks collided on County Road N3660 while responding to a fire near the property.

“Due to strong winds on a gravel road, visibility has decreased, causing Vehicle-1 and Vehicle-2 to hit each other head-on,” the soldiers said in a statement to the agency. “[Caleb Drummond] it was ejected approximately 21 meters from the resting point. “

Drummond is a TV personality and culinary author, well known as the “Pioneer Woman”. It seems that she and her nephew are close, since she mentioned him on her blog several times.
