Ree Drummond recently had an unwanted guest making a cameo in his kitchen.
In the last episode of The pioneer woman, which aired on Saturday, the television host’s kitchen was destroyed by a mouse, which kept interrupting the star that demonstrated how to make a bowl of cheese bread for beer.
“I consider myself a pioneer on the Food Network. After all, I think I’m the only host on the network who had a big cargo rat running around the kitchen in the middle of filming a cooking show,” wrote Drummond, 52, on Instagram next. of a clip from the episode.
“The (very) undesirable visitor interrupted the filming, and the screams (not just mine – right, Mauricio?) Were plentiful,” she added, giving a shout to Alex’s daughter, Mauricio Scott.
In the episode, Drummond is too busy cooking to notice when the rat first runs across the floor, only letting out a big shout after his family tells him what happened.
“Are you serious?” she asked. “I can’t shoot, people.”
Although Drummond finally decided that the coast was clean enough to pick up where it left off, the episode was stopped again when the rat made another surprise appearance, running across the floor to hide behind a trash can.
This time, Drummond asked for reinforcements and, with the help of his crew, they managed to get the mouse safely out.
As for how the guest entered his kitchen in the first place, Drummond shared that the creature found its way through a hole, which was left over from a previous water leak.

Even though she may have achieved more than she expected in the kitchen, Drummond had a lot to celebrate recently.
On Wednesday, she shared the exciting news that her adopted teenage son Jamar was “officially hired to play football” at the University of Central Oklahoma in the fall semester of 2021.
“I am very proud of him and very grateful to his friends, coaches and community for supporting him in countless ways,” wrote Drummond next to a photograph of the pair.
“I am grateful for Jamar himself – his hard work, his commitment and his presence in our family,” continued Drummond in his post.
The Food Network star revealed last November that she and her husband Ladd had become adoptive parents a year and a half earlier.
“I never wanted to subject Jamar to more attention than he wanted or needed before he had a chance to settle in and orient himself at our home,” she explained in an excerpt from her book. Frontier Follies.

Since then, Drummond has been sharing happy memories with all his families on Instagram.
“I love you, Alex, Paige, Bryce, Jamar and Todd! (And Fred and Rusty.) You make Christmas so much fun, you weirdos,” she captions a series of spontaneous photos of all the kids on Instagram. “Merry Christmas everyone !!”
