More solo-focused content is coming to Red Dead Online for those who like to challenge the border on their own. Rockstar Games released a blog post thanking GTA Online and Red Dead Online players with lots of goodies. Although that was the prominent theme of the post, the developer offers a small glimpse of what is to come.
“Stay tuned for more news about exciting future updates for both games coming this year, including new job opportunities for solo players on Red Dead Online,” says the post. “Look out for more celebratory events in the near future for a chance to win new gear, GTA $ bonuses and a free vehicle in GTA Online, and a host of new offers and rewards in Red Dead Online.
Thanks, Rockstar, I think I’ll keep an eye out. The amount of new solo content makes sense, since GTA Online won a heist last year that you could solo, and many Red Dead fans play alone. Recently, a new change in the network that puts players in solo lobbies instead of starting them immediately has been warmly welcomed. Of course, players have figured out how to activate this on demand.
Rockstar also highlights in its update that Red Dead Online is in great shape. The online game became available as a separate standalone game for Red Dead Redemption 2 in December and experienced more players, and more new players, in that month than at any time since the launch of its beta. Nice.
To celebrate success, Rockstar is offering you a free horse, free stable slot, 5,000 Club XP and more, if you want. You can also buy the western game for $ 4.99 until February 15th, so a lot is going on.
