Last week, the Detroit Lions indicated that the free agency was made primarily until the draft. Although they are likely to add pieces here and there – as evidenced by the recent signings of Corn Elder and Quinton Dunbar – most of the significant pieces were added before we went into the draft.
So, on this week’s PODcast, Ryan Mathews and I reviewed the Lions’ moves, chose our favorite and least favorite moves and took a look at where the list is. Lions had a clear goal of free agency. Have they accomplished enough?
We also covered the breaking news that the Carolina Panthers negotiated for former Jets quarterback Sam Darnold. We have already looked at why this is probably bad news for Lions, but is there a positive aspect to that as well?
