Rebel Wilson revealed that she previously agreed to each meeting for a year in hopes of finding love.

In an upcoming episode of Ant Middleton & Rebel Wilson: Straight Talking, the Pitch Perfect actress, 40, declares that ‘life is too short’ while she remembers ‘experimenting’ with novels.

The Australian, who is now in a relationship with billionaire Jacob Busch, 29, says on the show: ‘It was part of that year’s rules, not that I told people what was going on. I just gave people a chance and then learned a lot about me. ‘

In another part of the Sky One program – which will air on Thursday and see Rebel and Anton travel to Mexico – the Hollywood superstar admits that her incredible 18-pound weight loss was caused by 20 years of self-loathing.

The actress says she feels “so sad for herself” that she has allowed her unhappiness to manifest for two decades and admits that she has now found contentment for the first time since her adolescence – and wants to become a mother.

However, the star of the bridesmaids believes that the reaction her dramatic weight loss has received is sexist, claiming that a male actor would receive ‘an Oscar’, rather than trolling, for transforming his body.

Rebel tells SAS: Who Dares to Beat Anton, 40: ‘I wasn’t loving myself as I should have been in my 20s and 40s – it’s 20 years old.

‘I feel so sad for doing this to myself, just not loving myself in the right way. It is difficult because I was very self-confident and I don’t want to send a message to people that girls cannot be happy with themselves in larger sizes, because I was living life. ‘

Rebel documented her lifestyle makeover on social media last year, revealing her secrets to fitness, diet and motivation.

The blonde began to put on weight when she was close to 20, admitting that she added 25 pounds when she went to college.

She was diagnosed with PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome), which triggers problems with hormonal imbalances and metabolism, and Rebel says her condition, along with an unhealthy diet and “emotional comfort and nutrition” meant she would have a hard time losing the pounds. .

She says learning that caloric meals were not “goodies” was a big part of her journey to lose weight.

“What I realized is that it wasn’t treating me by eating 2,000 calories of dessert, that wasn’t treating me, that was putting toxins in my body that I don’t need. Is it a momentary comfort? Yes. But the next hour you are fat and not healthy for you.

Rebel admits that her size helped her get coveted comedy roles that shaped her career, including ‘Fat Amy’ in the Pitch Perfect franchise.

‘I start gaining a lot of weight and I’m like, do you know what’s good for older girls? Comedy, ‘she explains.

‘I’m fatter now, I’m getting more laughs, people want to pay me millions of dollars than to be hilarious.

“There is a philosophy that people don’t like to laugh at beautiful people, they just don’t. They usually want to sleep with beautiful people. But funny people they want to laugh at.

However, her success meant that she was ‘labeled’ as an oversized actress, saying that Hollywood executives ‘want me to play Fat Amy in several films and call the character something a little different.’

She now hopes to expand her acting resume and take on more serious roles, but admits that she has a lot to prove in order to distance herself from comedy roles that have made her one of the most profitable stars in the world.
