Rebel Wilson says her dramatic weight loss in the past year hasn’t changed her, but it has changed other people.
Specifically, it changed the way other people treat her, explained the actress on the Australian radio show “The Morning Crew With Hughesy, Ed and Erin”, according to the UK Independent.
“I like to think that it looks good on all sizes and things and I’ve always been very confident,” said the “Pitch Perfect” star. “So it wasn’t like I wasn’t confident and now I’m, like, overconfident.
“I think what is really interesting to me is how other people treat you. Sometimes, being bigger, people didn’t necessarily look at you twice. “
The 40-year-old added that having people “offering to carry my purchases to the car and keep the doors open” made her think: “’Is that what other people experience all the time?’”
Wilson added that the attention that his renewed image has received still perplexes her, “when there is so much going on in the world”, allowing, “People are always fascinated by the transformations of weight loss”.
Wilson reached his weight goal of 165 pounds in November, after going through a “health year”. “Even if it’s not a weight number, it’s about being healthy,” she said.
