Rebel Wilson discusses the “interesting” ways people treated her after her weight loss transformation

Rebel Wilson has been on a journey to lose weight and prepare – and is now being treated differently because of it.

The 40-year-old Australian actress appeared on “The Morning Crew with Hughesy, Ed and Erin” to discuss her journey to lose weight and revealed that people started treating her differently after improving her health.

“It’s interesting … I liked to think it looked good in all sizes and things,” said Wilson. “And I’ve always been very confident, so it’s not like I’m not confident and now I’m overconfident.”

“I think what’s really interesting is how other people treat you,” added Wilson. “Sometimes, being bigger, people didn’t necessarily look twice at you. Now that I’m in good shape, people offer to take my purchases to the car and keep the doors open for you.”

“Before, I probably ate 3,000 calories most days, and since they were usually carbohydrates, I was still hungry,” she told People magazine. “So, I really switched to a protein-rich diet, which is a challenge because I didn’t used to eat a lot of meat.”

“I’m just trying to achieve an overall balance, a healthy overall balance,” said Wilson of his overall health goals. “I have this state of being, which is not my phrase, but I say ‘Nothing is forbidden.’ Let’s be like, ‘Should we buy hamburger In-N-Out?’ And I’m like, ‘Nothing is forbidden.’ I can go there, I can only eat half of what I ate before. You know? I’m going to have a hamburger and some fries and you’ll be fine. “
