On Wednesday, January 20, President-elect Joe Biden, Dr. Jill Biden, Vice President-elect Kamala Harris and Mr. Douglas Emhoff will participate in a religious service at St. Matthew’s Cathedral, the Apostle, which will include a grouped photo spray.
At noon, Joseph R. Biden, Jr. will take the oath as the 46th President of the United States at the United States Capitol in Washington, DC, which will be open to pre-accredited media.
In the afternoon, the President, the First Lady, the Vice President and the Second Gentleman will visit the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia, which will be gathered to the press.
Subsequently, they will receive a presidential escort to the White House, which will be shared by the press.
In the evening, the president will sign executive orders and other presidential actions in the Oval Office and take possession of the first day’s nominees in a virtual ceremony, which will include pool spray.
The president and vice president will make comments during the inaugural “Celebrating America” program.
