
WandaVision turned out to be much more than an animated suburban comedy going through different decades.

WandaVision, Marvel Plus’s first live action series from Disney Plus, sparked a lot of sentiment in its brief nine-episode series, which ended with the long-awaited end airing friday. Our complete recap is full of spoiler, but the short version: Wanda and Vision did not have the perfect suburban comedy life that the show began to portray. Raise your hand if you didn’t expect a superhero program to deliver a touching lesson on grieving.
Some reactions from the viewer focused on sadness. “WANDAVISION WRITERS IM SENDING YALL THE THERAPY ACCOUNT,” wrote a Twitter user.
Others praised the show as a whole. “In the past 8 weeks, WandaVision has been an absolute joy to watch and the highlight of the time I spent at the block,” wrote one of them. “This show is by far my favorite MCU content ever made.”
The twin boys of Wanda and Vision were on the minds of many viewers. “How could you hurt them like that Marvel, I swear, if you don’t bring them back,” wrote one of them.

There were many unanswered questions. Some viewers still dream of ending, but they may have to wait until Wanda returns in the feature film. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, scheduled to launch on March 25, 2022.
Doctor Strange may not be enough for some fans, who are hoping for a second season of WandaVision. Director Matt Shakman told Collider that there are currently no plans for a second season, adding that “that could change, of course”.
He wrote one, “OK Marvel, thanks for the end of the WandaVision season. Now give me the second season.”
