The dismissal was granted without prejudice, so the pair is free to repeat the process in the future, if they so wish.

The news may not come as a surprise to fans, because a few weeks ago, Ray revealed that they were definitely moving to Miami to start from scratch, but were taking things one day at a time.

He said on TMZ Live last month: ‘We are in a good place now, we are in Miami, we are going to move to Miami, I don’t think we are going back to Los Angeles anytime soon. We take care of the children, they love being here and that gave us a different mood and perspective on life. God is good, we are living one day at a time. ‘

However, although Ray believes that he and Princess are ‘destined to be together’, he stopped saying that their romance was completely back on track.

‘I think it’s just a journey that we have to do, but we are together, we love being together.

‘Now it’s about figuring out how to stay consistent and enjoy life together and be good together, because I think we were made for each other.’

The 40-year-old singer insisted that he does not want to leave Miami now that he is there.

He said: ‘Miami is alive, soon I will be on an island, soon I will be at a hotel, but I will be on an island as soon as we close this cradle, I am not going anywhere.’

Princess and Ray had two children: daughter Melody, two, and son Epik, 14 months.

Princesa and Ray J were married in 2016 at the Cathedral of St. Vibiana, a Catholic church in Los Angeles, according to People magazine.
