Actor Ray Fisher’s ongoing battle with Warner Bros. took another turn, with the actor’s character Victor Stone / Cyborg being removed entirely from the upcoming film The Flash.
The 33-year-old made his film debut in a cameo as Cyborg in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice 2016, before the 2017 Justice League.
Fisher made headlines last summer when he accused Joss Whedon, who directed the Justice League remakes after Zack Snyder left due to a family tragedy, behaved inappropriately and unprofessionally on the set.

The actor accessed Twitter on Tuesday to issue a lengthy statement about his removal from the Flash, which came just two weeks after he declared that he would refuse to work with DC Films President Walter Hamada, who he called ‘ the most dangerous type of facilitator. ‘
“I received official confirmation that Warner Bros. Pictures decided to remove me from The Flash,” Fisher’s long statement began.
He added that, ‘despite the misunderstanding, Cyborg’s involvement in Flash was much more than a cameo – and while I regret the missed opportunity to bring Victor Stone back to the screen, bringing awareness to Walter Hamada’s actions will prove be a much more important contribution to the world. ‘

Fisher also reiterated his statement made on December 30, where he said he could no longer ‘participate in any production associated with current DC Films president Walter Hamada’.
The actor said that Hamada purposely tried to “undermine” the investigation he started in the Justice League remakes in an effort to protect his friend Geoff Johns.
Fisher added that Hamada lied in his September 4 statement, which claimed that Fisher refused to meet with third-party investigators, which Fisher claims was a lie.

He went on to say that Hamada’s behavior was not the focus of the investigation, although Fisher adds that his ‘dangerous and empowering actions must be held accountable’.
Fisher first spoke about Joss Whedon’s behavior in July, stating through Twitter: ‘The treatment that Joss Wheadon gave the cast and crew of the Justice League on the set was rude, abusive, unprofessional and completely unacceptable. He was empowered, in many ways, by Geoff Johns and Jon Berg, ‘with the latter being the head of DC Films while the Justice League was in production.
Hamada was named president of DC Films in 2018 after the commercial and critical failure of the Justice League.

A few days after Fisher’s initial tweets, the actor said he had a ’57-minute phone call’ with Hamada, where he tried to get Hamada to ‘escalate’ Fisher’s complaints against Whedon, Johns and Berg ‘through the appropriate channels. . ‘
Instead, Hamada, ‘discredited Joss Whedon and Jon Berg in an attempt to cover up Geoff Johns,’ although when Fisher told Hamada that Johns, ‘he was a major contributor to the problems faced – including blatant racism – Walter tried, but without success, to have me reveal the names of witnesses and other specific information so that he could alert Johns about the claims against him.
Hamada even rejected Fisher’s claims against Johns due to his own personal relationship working with Johns.

Hamada had even told Fisher that he was informed of Whedon’s behavior on the set before Fisher performed, adding that it was the producer’s job to protect the director.
Hamada eventually agreed to ‘escalate’ Fisher’s complaints, adding that he was above his salary level, and made a ‘bad joke’ about not putting him on Twitter.
Since the investigation was launched, WarnerMedia has separated from Whedon, while exposing Johns’ “racist, coercive, discriminatory and retaliatory behavior”.

Fisher added that his responsibilities now are ‘to try to protect those who were brave enough to lend their voice to the Justice League investigation’ and to ensure that what happened in the Justice League reshoots and the investigation that followed ‘never happens again’ .
The actor concluded his statement by holding that Walter Hamada is, ‘unsuitable for a leadership position’, adding that he is willing to submit to a polygraph to support all the claims he has made against Hamada.
“I don’t know how many cases of abuse in the workplace Walter tried to cover in the past, but I hope the Justice League investigation will be the last one,” said Fisher.
