Ray Fisher confirms the exit of the flash, expands on the charges of Hamada

Fisher began his statement by confirming that he will not appear as Victor Stone / Cyborg in The Flash movie. Apparently, your character would have a more substantial role than previously reported. But in the wake of its public comments against WB, the studio decided to “remove” him from the film. Fisher then offered new insight into Hamada’s attempts to “interfere” with WarnerMedia Justice League investigation, which began after he accused director Joss Whedon of unprofessional behavior.
“Instead of aggravating the situation when initially questioned, Walter belittled Joss Whedon and Jon Berg in an attempt to cover up Geoff Johns,” wrote Fisher. “When I changed Walter that Geoff was, in fact, a major contributor to the problems experienced – including blatant racism – Walter tried, but unsuccessfully, to get me to reveal the names of witnesses and other details that could be used to alert Geoff’s claims filed against him. Walter came to severely reject certain statements of mine as false because of his work experience and personal relationship with Geoff. “
“Walter indicated that he was informed of Joss Whedon’s problematic behavior well before I spoke on July 1, 2020.” continued Fisher. “That information probably came from Geoff Johns, with whom Walter served as co-president of DC Films. Regardless of how he was informed, Walter knew there was legitimacy in my claims against Joss Whedon, but he persisted in trying to minimize and dismiss the situation – claiming that it is the producer’s job to “protect the director” and that he was looking to “go beyond” anything to do with Zack Snyder’s Justice League. “
According to Fisher, the WarnerMedia investigation found evidence of Johns’ “racist, coercive, discriminatory and retaliatory” behavior. As far as we know, DC isn’t breaking up its decades-long relationship with Johns anytime soon. But as far as Fisher is concerned, the ball stops Hamada. And if he has to leave the role of Cyborg behind, it is a price he will “happily” pay.
“I say that Walter Hamada is not suitable for a leadership position,” added Fisher. “And I am willing, at any time, to undergo a polygraph test to support my allegations against him.
