Quarterback Lamar Jackson injured his head during the Baltimore Ravens split-round playoff game against Buffalo Bills on Saturday night and did not return.
Jackson was injured at the end of the third quarter when his head hit the grass and his neck snapped back. He went to the locker room on his own and was subjected to the league’s concussion protocol. As time passed, the Ravens announced that Jackson was ready for the game.

Reserve game for QB rookie Tyler Huntley in the game for Jackson with the Ravens defeated 17-3.
Jackson was injured on the way after launching a Pick Six for the Bills cornerback Taron Johnson. The defense returned the ball 101 yards for a touchdown, tying a playoff record. The scoreboard put Buffalo in two touchdowns.

Jackson went 14-to-24 with 162 passing yards and the interception for Johnson. He also had 34 yards on the ground in nine shipments.
Baltimore’s only score came in a basket from Justin Tucker. But Tucker had already lost two field goals at the start of the game.

Jackson helped the Ravens to defeat Tennessee in last week’s wild card game. He was 17 of 24 with 179 passing yards and an interception. He had 136 yards on the ground and an accelerated touchdown. It was his first career playoff victory, after being eliminated in the previous two seasons in his first games.
