Rapper TI and wife Tameka ‘Tiny’ Harris deny allegations of sexual abuse

Rapper TI and his wife, Tameka “Tiny” Harris, are refuting “terrible” abuse allegations made against them.

The celebrity couple, who once had their own VH1 reality show, “TI & Tiny: Friends & Family Hustle”, made headlines this week after a woman named Sabrina Peterson posted screenshots of unverified messages from more than one a dozen unidentified women accusing the rapper and his wife of sexual abuse.

According to reports, Peterson is a former friend of the couple.

A TI representative issued a statement on Friday denying the allegations.

“Mr. and Mrs. Harris want to be registered and, most importantly, they want the public to know that they emphatically deny in the most vehement way possible the blatantly terrible accusations made against them by Sabrina Peterson,” says the statement shared with Complex. “The Harrris have been struggling with this woman for over a decade. They are taking this issue very seriously and, if these allegations are not over, they will take appropriate legal action.”

A rapper representative did not immediately respond to Fox News’s request for comment.

In a lengthy video posted to his Instagram account on Friday, the Grammy-winning rapper, whose real name is Clifford Joseph Harris Jr., said it was difficult initially to remain silent when the accusations began to circulate.

“No weapon forged against us will prosper. We vehemently deny ALL of these disgusting and anonymous allegations,” he wrote on the platform.

He also said, via E! News: “What we are not going to do is open the door to my room. Whatever we have done, it was done with consensual adults who like what we like and what we like. If we want something, we know exactly where to go to get it. . We never force anyone, we never drug anyone against their will, we never arrest anyone against their will. We never force anyone to do anything. We never sexually traffic anything. “

Shortly after the couple’s representative released a statement on Friday, Peterson reportedly responded by sharing his interest in a lie detector test.

“Currently finding a CREDIBLE RESOURCE!” wrote an Instagram account that is believed to belong to her. “If you know a CREDIBLE LIES DETECTION SERVICE, SEND ME THE INFORMATION I WOULD LIKE TO GO TODAY!”

Reports say that Peterson had previously accused the rapper of putting a gun to his head in front of his children. The rapper’s wife also spoke out against the charges.

TI and Tiny have been married for 10 years. The hip-hop star has six children, three of whom he shares with Tiny.

In 2020, she spoke to Fox News about the secret of her long-term marriage.
