Grammy-nominated rapper DaBaby was arrested on Thursday on two counts of carrying a gun.
Acting captain Max Subin of the Beverly Hills Police Department confirmed to Fox News that the top artist, whose real name is Jonathan Lyndale Kirk, was arrested at approximately 4:45 pm on Rodeo Drive while with a group of men.
“Beverly Hills cops responded to block 300 on Rodeo Drive after store security called 911 from [sic] a group of male individuals walking south on Rodeo Drive. They reported that one of the guys had a gun at his waist while he was in the store, “the police spokesman told Fox News in a written statement.
The group was arrested after returning to a vehicle. Following an investigation, Kirk, 29, from Charlotte, NC, was arrested on charges of carrying a concealed weapon and loading a loaded firearm in a vehicle.

Rapper “Rockstar” was released from police custody at the Beverly Hills Police Department on $ 35,000 bail.
The group of men he was with was “released on the spot,” police said.

Kirk is due to appear in court on March 25.
