Rapper Bow Wow woke up on Saturday with dozens of angry comments from fans for performing at a crowded nightclub in Houston amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The 33-year-old artist documented his Friday night on his Instagram Story, showing an extremely crowded nightclub with dozens of fans standing and dancing without masks.
“So wait, people risking their lives in a crowded club to see BOW WOW ??? BOW WOW?” a user tweeted.
“Ppl really risking everything for Bow wow in the year 2021? !!” another joked.
“I would NEVER risk my life for Lil Bow Wow … Also, don’t we have COVID restrictions in H-Town? This club needs to close. There are some terrible ways to die, but death by Bow Wow has to be up there. Make people better “, another I wrote.

Others tweeted directly to the musician, whose real name is Shad Moss, to accuse him of not caring as much for the public’s safety as for his own.
“At what point do you, as an artist, stop and say, ‘Is that irresponsible?’ Don’t you talk to promoters about social distance? People are DYING because of Covid-19, especially people of color! But you got paid, right ?! ” A person tweeted to Bow Wow.
While other fans scoffed at Moss for being a “super promoter”, he claimed he was not wrong and attended similar parties in 2020.

“Dude, I threw parties last year. I used my mask at the club. I can’t host this thing,” he replied to a critic.
In another tweet, Moss said, ‘IT WASN’T MY PARTY. But of course I get the blame. “
