Ranking of the 25 best college football facilities in 2021

Outside Northwestern’s 450,000-square-foot football facility on the shores of Lake Michigan, you would think that the monstrosity of the Avengers headquarters housed Iron Man, Captain America and others, not a program that is eager to enter in the realm of elites.

If you’re not building, you’re sinking in college football and Northwestern coach Pat Fitzgerald believes that his team finally has room to compete.

“We have achieved a lot with little. And now, in order to have a lot, I think the sky is the limit of our program, “Fitzgerald told 247Sports in June 2018, a few months before winning the first of two Big Ten titles in the next three seasons.

The best programs in the country reap the benefits of impressive facilities each year, with large subscription bids that lead to immediate success in the field. The way you train and recruit goes hand in hand with the competition for playoff places annually and, once again, the elite proved last season that offering maximum comfort is essential to winning.

“The guys come in here, they can spend all day, play arcades, play baskets, play in the golf simulator, they can recover in the [cryogenic chamber], “Ohio State Coach Ryan Day said. “We want them to feel that this is their home.”
