Random: Twitter just defeated Misty, leader of the water-type gym, on Pokémon Red

It’s been over a week since Twitter started its journey in the classic Game Boy Pokémon Red.

In case you missed it, users of this social media platform are playing the original Game Boy title within the avatar of the programmer profile Constantin Liétard on Gameloft Montreal’s Twitter (@screenshakes)

So, what are the latest? The brain behind this social media experiment has just confirmed that Misty, leader of the Cerulean City Water Gym, has finally been defeated. Cascade Badge acquired!

It seems that the Strange Level 18 (nicknamed CURSE) was able to survive in the end.

The rest of the group currently consists of a Spearow Level 16 (SPEAROW), a Wigglytuff Level 14 (POP), a Wartortle Level 24 (AMAYBE), a Geodude Level 16 (ABBPRI) and an Abra Level 10 called Alakazam.
