Random: Scott Pilgrim Vs The new cover art of the world is a parody of Sonic’s adventure

Bryan Lee O’Malley – creator of Scott Pilgrim – is deceiving us, isn’t he? The new cover art of Scott Pilgrim vs The World: The Game features the title boy’s antihero is a familiar pose for many of us, and that’s because it’s a direct replica / tribute to the iconic Sonic pose under the box leg art Sonic Adventure.

If you are a Nintendo purist, then you may know the game as “Sonic Adventure DX: Director’s Version“, the title was given on the GameCube, but Sonic’s first foray into the 3D world was actually an original Dreamcast (RIP) game. It was the best-selling game on the console, no doubt due to the addition of the excellent Chao minigame in that Sonic learns the value of being a parent by creating a virtual pet.

While the relaunch of Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game is exciting enough, we can’t help but wonder if we will ever play Sonic Adventure again. We still have that song in our heads. You know which one.
