One of the highlights of 2020 was the indie hit Hades by Supergiant Games. The title was one of the best selling indies on Switch eShop and we said it was a heavenly trip to hell, rewarding it with a ten out of ten stars.
As you can probably imagine, he now has some serious megafans, and one on Reddit with the name canhazreddit went the extra mile, creating his own custom arcade cabinet containing this quality roguelike.
The creator goes into a little extra detail, explaining how it is powered by an “i5, Nvidia 1060” (computer components) and the case itself is just a “giant wood” case. The left controller is an UltraStick 360 and, although there are coin ramps in the unit, “unfortunately” they do not work.
Although the original idea was to use “a switch” as a source, unfortunately, they were unable to find exactly what they needed at the moment to make this happen.
